Contemporary Tables and Contemporary Coffee Tables:

Contemporary tables are often not all that contemporary, the term contemporary gets used far too often. Many furniture designers use the word contemporary to mean 'a new design' they made. Contemporary just means 'of our time'/'modern'. In our view contemporary tables should use modern materials in a way that pushes the limit of what is normal. For example a wood table with a wood top is not contemporary - (i'm sure the romans built these!)

Our contemporary tables are truely contemporary. They use ultra modern materials that are unusual in tables today. And they have a distinctive modern, contemporary, minimalist look.

They feature stainless steel table bases that allow extreme corner placement of the legs, and our tables only ever have four legs, even at sizes as large as four meters long! The stainless steel we use is has a high chromium content, giving excellent anti-rusting properties and is very hard. To see some more of our designs visit our stainless steel tables page. This is taken to the extreme in our recent design for a contemporary table made from stainless steel rods chemically bonded to a beautiful glass table top. It is shown below. (We also produce wood table tops)
